Everyone loves a good comeback story.

That’s why WWE fans are elated for the return of the iconic Goldberg.

Bill Goldberg, a former NFL defensive lineman and University of Georgia football star, transitioned to the world of sports entertainment in the late 1990s. He quickly became one of the biggest superstars the industry had ever seen.

After a 12-year hiatus, Goldberg is back to battle an old foe, former UFC Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar, this Sunday in the “Survivor Series” (7 p.m., WWE Network).

He recently visited ESPN’s Bristol, Conn., campus. In the video above, Goldberg discusses his love of Monday Night Football, transitioning from football to wrestling, ESPN’s expansion of its WWE coverage and more.
