#TBT: Mike & Mike at Night

ESPN Radio’s long-running Mike & Mike program will bid farewell on Friday, signing off the air after nearly 18 years.

Hosts Mike Greenberg and Mike Golic have grown the show from its upstart beginnings to an award-winning, pop culture phenomenon. Over the span of almost two decades, Mike & Mike:

  • Have hosted more than 4,000 shows;
  • Welcomed more than 10,000 guests, including every major sports commissioner during their active status;
  • Traveled for more than 175 remote broadcasts across the country;
  • Made 11 appearances on “The Late Show with David Letterman”;
  • Won a Sports Emmy;
  • Were inducted into the National Association of Broadcasters Broadcasting Hall of Fame.

But, did you know that Greeny and Golic also hosted their own prime-time talk show?

That’s right – on Aug. 13, 2004, Mike & Mike at Night aired on ESPN. It was a one-time special that featured interviews and many of the familiar segments from their ESPN Radio show.
