This year ESPN The Magazine’s Thanksgiving issue (on newsstands today) focuses on family, food and football. In two cover stories featuring NFL quarterbacks Jared Goff and Patrick Mahomes, writers Tim Keown and Seth Wickersham examine why Los Angeles and Kansas City fans have so much to be grateful for this holiday.
Goff and Mahomes will face one another on ESPN’s Monday Night Football (Nov. 19, 8:15 ET).
Keown and Wickersham exchanged thoughts about working on these stories and Front Row was able to capture some of their conversation below.
