ESPN adds fireworks to your Fourth Of July celebrations
ESPN wishes you and yours a happy Fourth of July. Add these exciting live events to your picnic menu.
ESPN’s Holiday Baseball telecasts presented by Land Rover begin at 4 p.m. with the Philadelphia Phillies and Maikel Franco hosting the Pittsburgh Pirates and Andrew McCutchen at Citizens Bank Park. Jason Benetti will have the call of the full-national telecast with analyst Rick Sutcliffe. Then, At 8 p.m., the Boston Red Sox and Mookie Betts visit the Texas Rangers and Adrián Beltré. Dave Flemming and Eduardo Pérez will be in the booth to call the action. The telecast will be subject to blackout restrictions in the Boston market.
Follow ESPN’s exclusive coverage of The Championships, Wimbledon, as the tournaments unfold this week. Weekdays, ESPN’s coverage begins at 7 a.m. ET for daylong coverage (scheduled to end at 4:30 p.m., except 4 p.m. on Tuesday). The action gets started at 6:30 a.m. on ESPN3 and streaming live on the ESPN App with all televised courts (up to 15 at a time).
And Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest will air live on Tuesday, July 4, at noon ET on ESPN2, with the Women’s Championship on ESPN3, and streaming live on the ESPN app, at 11 a.m. The one-hour telecast marks the 14th consecutive year ESPN has televised the event and will also include highlights of the Women’s Championship.
