Hasselbeck brothers become boothmates on ESPN tonight

NFL analysts – and brothers – Tim Hasselbeck and Matt Hasselbeck will trade their NFL duties for college football when they call tonight’s NC State versus Louisville game (8 ET, ESPN).

The Hasselbecks will work alongside play-by-play voice Dave Flemming and sideline reporter Laura Rutledge. In a new twist this season, the Thursday night analyst gig has been a rotation of various talent each week. So far, Kirk Herbstreit, Brock Huard, Joey Galloway, Booger McFarland, Brian Griese and Todd McShay have joined Flemming in the Thursday night booth.

In the video above, the former collegiate and NFL quarterbacks talk about what it’s like to work with each other on air.

Both brothers have previous experience in the booth: Tim made his television debut in 2007 as an analyst for a Cardinals-Ravens matchup and Matt was a guest analyst during a Rams-Cardinals telecast in 2014.

Kim Elchlepp, Allie Stoneberg and Bill Hofheimer produced the above video.
