ESPN Cover Story, a new franchise that touches nearly every dimension of the organization, launched today across ESPN platforms, with the first story about NFL star DeAndre Hopkins.

In the video above, ESPN Vice President, Editorial Director and Executive Producer, Alison Overholt, and Neely Lohmann, senior deputy editor, break down this new modern, multimedia presentation that will debut a new story every month and shine a light on ESPN’s unmatched storytelling abilities.

A standalone 30-minute Cover Story special airs tonight at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN2, and E:60 will also include a version of the feature during its primetime debut airing on Tuesday, Oct 22.
